Introduction

Coach Moss

6'1, 210 pounds, class of 2028, Yulee High School. Eastern Carolina offered. P4s are watching. And he's just getting started. Yulee High School linebacker, Jaison Brown. Welcome to Behind the Whistle a 904.

Jaison

Yes, sir. Thank you so much for having me.

First Team All-District & HM All-State

Coach Moss

No problem. So when I was doing my research, I guess the first thing that kind of popped out to me was about you being first team all district honorable as well as honorable mention all state. How did it feel like getting those accolades as a sophomore?

Jaison

You know, Coach it was amazing. You know, I truly I take pride in everything I do on the field. And more importantly, when I just heard those accolades, you know, I I just was very happy. You know, I talked about with my family, they were happy too, but we know after that, those those accolades are temporary. So after that, it's back to work, you know. Just keeping my head level-headed and not getting too much of an ego, you know, just getting better.

Leading Defense in Tackles

Coach Moss

Yes, sir. So another thing that popped out to me is having 95 tackles as a sophomore. My I got my question was my first question is did that lead the team and if so Like, how did that feel being a leader of a defense as a sophomore?

Jaison

You know, you know, being a leader on the defense, I've I've been a leader since I was born. So it really wasn't anything new to me, you know. But just commanding the guys and going out on the field with a sense of pride, wearing that Y on my chest and being labeled as a captain by my peers, it just felt really good internally, you know. It felt like I had a sense of purpose, more purpose on the field than just getting tackles and sacks. I really could impact my teammates throughout the discussions we've had on the sidelines and just stuff like that. So it it it just was amazing. It was an amazing feeling being out there as a captain.

Coach Moss

Okay, can

Most Tackles in a Game

Coach Moss

you talk about the game where you had your most the most thing the most tackles as far as what game that was in, how many tackles that was that what that feeling was like just dominating that game?

Jaison

Yes, sir. So the most tackles I've had in the game was 19 against Fernandina Beach Our Rival. Yeah. So going in that game, you know, Fernandina is a tough ri, rivalry, because if you know anything about um Yulee and Nassau County, that's just right across the bridge. You know what I mean? So there was a lot going into that, but I can say when I first got like those first five tackles on the first drive, you know, I really was getting in my rhythm and I was like, oh, this is gonna be a good one. You know, and by halftime, I was just like, I stopped counting how many tackles I had. I was like, I'm just gonna go out here and have fun, you know? Yeah, it was an amazing feeling with the um Dream Kingz was there too, so I was like, yeah, I really gotta pop off now. You know what I mean?

Playing Style

Coach Moss

Like So I saw uh as well, I saw you had 10 tackles for loss. So are you the type of linebacker that's just just shooting the gaps, or are you reading the reading the guards and then shooting after that?

Jaison

You know, I think I'm an all-around linebacker. You know, I think to be a linebacker, you have to do everything. The positions evolve. You know what I mean? Like you have to be able to cover tackle well. So I would just describe my game as I fly, C-ball, get ball. That's what I'm gonna say. C-ball, get ball, whether that's if we're going against a gap scheme team, I'm reading the guards, or if we're not, I'm seeing ball and getting ball for playing those pass heavy teams. So to answer that question, I really just say I'm all around linebacker. You know what I mean?

Coach Moss

Yeah,

How he got most of his sacks

Coach Moss

that makes sense. So uh also you had three and five three and a half sacks. So what else more so coming off the edge, or were you kind of like blitzing up the A gap?

Jaison

You know, I those stats mainly we have some packages where the linebacker sometimes has to walk down. You know, so I think those sacks are mainly me chasing the quarterback. It wasn't so much walk down this past season, I was more so chasing the quarterback and pursuing.

Best Hit

Coach Moss

Okay. What was the best hit that you say you had this year?

Jaison

The best hit I've had this year?

Coach Moss

Yeah, walk me through that play and how you felt after that moment.

Jaison

Best hit I've had this year. Gee, since there's been so many.

Coach Moss

Gotta be with 95 tackles.

Jaison

Yeah, I gotta narrow it down, my guy. Um I'd say uh the most memorable hit I've had is probably the hit against in our playoff game, West Florida. You know what I mean? I'm just it was a foggy game, so just imagine that it was really foggy. You know, I think we were down by like a touchdown or so. And then something in me just clicked. I was like, all right, I'm done.

Coach Moss

Yeah.

Jaison

I was coming up, I was it was a halfback stretch play, just to be simple. It was a halfback stretch, and I was just shooting the gap, and I was like, I'm gonna clock this guy. Clock him right in the two gap, you know. It was a good big hit, but I just knew he had more in the game to go, you know what I mean?

Coach Moss

So

How he scouts opponent

Coach Moss

Yeah. So can you talk about when you're scouting an opponent? How much how how many hours are you watching film as far as by yourself and what are you kind of looking for?

Jaison

You know, as i think I'm going through this process and like I'm getting more serious about my film watching. So how I like to do it is um after every game Friday, I'll I'll render my highlights probably that Saturday, and then Sunday, I really sit down and I analyze the film. You know, I'll probably spend like an hour 30 on film Sunday, and then after Sunday, I'll go through it every single day, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and I'll go through it at night. I'll walk through my progressions about at linebacker, I'll watch what this team is doing. I mainly look at the offensive line. Like, is his hat high? Is his hat low? Is the guard, does he put his butt in the ground? Does he have it high up when he's pulling? Like, what are his tendencies? So I'm really detail-oriented when it comes to that. So each day is just something throughout the week. I have to do something, I have to analyze the film each day.

4.5 GPA

Coach Moss

Yes, sir. So another thing that kind of popped up, popped out to me when I was doing my research is that you have a 4.5 GPA. And I just want you to kind of talk a little bit about that because it's not like you're just going to school, you're actually playing football, and now you have to manage that, manage playing football as well as getting A's and trying to keep that high GPA. So how do you manage that?

Jaison

Yes, sir. Well, I really think I manage that well because that's just something I was raised on. You know, my family is a bunch of, we're a bunch of doctors, funny people, caring people about humanity. You know, I really take pride in my education. You know, I'm I'm very involved in school. I was class president, my freshman and sophomore year. I was involved in many clubs. So it's not like school was just something that I just picked up on. You know, I really I embody that smart kid role at my school. I really I take pride in that. I take pride in it a lot. Yeah.

Coach Moss

Yes,

Development from end of season to Spring

Coach Moss

sir. So now we're gonna talk about how how do you how would you say that you developed from the end of the season to going through spring practice? How did how do you think you developed during that period?

Jaison

I think I developed tremendous amount just by also like another emphasis this offseason for me was just using my hands more, you know, just being more of a defensive threat at any level of the field, three levels, the the line, the coverage, and the tackling aspect. So I really think the biggest part for me was looking at my film, and I was telling I was looking at it with people, and I I just kept hearing it, be more violent. You know what I mean? Like I just want to be be a more violent linebacker. So every time I hit somebody this year, they're gonna feel it. Whether or not they felt it last year, they're gonna feel it.

Coach Moss

Yes, sir.

Jaison

Because that's something I took pride in this offseason in the spring, and that's something I'm I'm working on, and that's gonna be you're it's gonna show in the game, you know? I'm just so I'm so excited to put all that to work and to show the world. You know what I mean? That's just something I take pride in.

Coach Moss

Yes,

Spring Game

Coach Moss

sir, definitely. So just speaking on that spring, can you just talk about how that game was? And you had eight tackles, two tackles for loss and a sack. So that means you had to be playing all over the field. Just talk about that game and then the the opponent you played.

Jaison

You know, um going into that week, we we made it a um we made it in practice very clear that we want to show something to um the city, you know, because us being at Nassau county, we're kind of the under, we we're kind of the underdog all the time. So, you know, we kind of came in with a chip that game. And that game is when really we experimented a lot. You know, I was coming off the edge, I was put in different positions, to like cover more. So just me going throughout the game, getting a natural flow for things, getting that sack coming off the edge, getting that TFL when they threw a bubble in the backfield, you know, it's just simple stuff like that. And it's stuff that's second nature to me because you know that's what I work on, and more importantly, that's what I take pride in the offseason.

Coach Moss

Yes.

Jaison

Working on those things. Yeah.

Being lead by Head Coach Kyle Doughtery

Coach Moss

Exactly. That makes perfect sense. Now, can you talk a little bit about your head coach, Coach KD, and how he does a great job at leading y'all and and developing y'all?

Jaison

You know, Coach Coach KD, he's he's an amazing leader, first of all. He's not only a leader of a football team, you know, he's a leader of men. So like he he's he's leading us to be perfect, perfect examples throughout our life. Whether that's in the workforce, football, coaching, being a teacher, that's one thing he takes pride in, you know. And as far as the X's and O's with um Coach KD, you know, he does it he does a good job. The staff, the offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, the support staff around us, they just do an amazing job of making sure we are prepared and we have everything we need. And you know, one thing he um the point of emphasis cage Coach K D has is communication. He's so big on communication, whether that's team bonding, whether that's talking things out, you know, that's what m that's what separates Coach KD from all these other coaches. You know, he really cares for us and the football aspect.

Coach Moss

Yes,

Trainer Justin Renfrow

Coach Moss

sir. So as as we both know, as far as being like your coaches only have a certain amount of time that they can be a be around y'all, whether that's practice or summer. So I think kind of a big thing is having trainers. And I saw that you have a trainer in Justin Renfrow. Can you just can you talk a little bit about him and how he's helped your take you take your game to the next level and how that relationship started out?

Jaison

Oh, you know, um, me and Coach, me and Justin, uh, Coach Renfrow, I call him Coach. Me and Coach, we I've known him since my 8th Grade year. So, you know, it's he's seen me develop as a player, and you know, just even the conversations we have on a football level and a life level, I I value that more than anything. You know, that's that's something I really take pride in as well, is that whenever I'm messing up or I'm not doing something to full speed or to the standard I set for myself, he's there to keep reminding me that, hey, like, we gotta keep going. You know what I mean? Like, this is not the end-all be-all. We have to push, I have to push myself to my limits. So that's something I really appreciate from Coach Renfrow. I think in my he's the best trainer in the city. Like, he full on, he's a great person, great guy. You know, he he's just a very, he's a very great human being. He's just a phenomenal, phenomenal trainer, whether it's X's and O's, like talking to him, he's just great. It's great vibes going on the training sessions. Like, it's just it's great vibes all around, and I wouldn't trade that relationship for anything in the world.

Coach Moss

Is

Biggest thing Justin Renfrow has taught him

Coach Moss

there one area whether that's football on the field or or X's and O's wise that you could that kind of stands out to you that he's helped you um improve since you started training with him?

Jaison

Yeah, he's helped me become a smarter football player. Like that's and that he's helped me, he's helped me visualize visualization and actual game-game preparation it takes. You know, because he's played at all those levels I want to play at.

Coach Moss

Yeah.

Jaison

So just having that puts me way farther than any other player in in terms of the mental aspect. Because, you know, when we're preparing weekly, it's certain stuff we're eating, it's certain film we're watching, you know, certain dependencies we're looking out for. So that's really that's really the biggest takeaway I can say as far as from the training. He's really helped me in my preparation.

Coach Moss

Okay.

Position Coach at Yulee HS

Coach Moss

Now, can you talk about your linebacker coach at Yulee? How long he's been, how how long you've been working with him and how he's kind of helped you as well as being with you, like as far as practice on a day-to-day basis.

Jaison

Well, me and Coach Knight's 20 story. I I've been watching our linebacker coach. I I watched him when I was little. I used to go to the high school games, and I watched him as a player. Oh, wow. You know what I mean? So I've seen him play, and I I always everyone in Yulee always respected. They call him Gavin. I call him Coach Knight. Everyone in Yulee always respected him because he worked hard and he applied it in the game, and he was a leader, you know, and those are still traits he carries today. And that's why me and him get along, we align so good, is because we're competitors and we're leaders. You know, that's why he's taken us, he's really, he's also helped me with taking that next next step in being an elite linebacker because it's ultra, it's being ultra competitive and it's being ultra detail oriented, which is something he takes pride in.

Being offered by ECU

Coach Moss

Yeah, now we're going to transition to your recruiting. I saw recently you just picked up an off offer from Eastern Carolina. Can you just walk me through that moment of you getting your first offer and what coach talked to you? How did that transition go about?

Jaison

Yeah, well, that was a it was a great conversation with Coach Brian, you know. That's the uh Nickels coach at um Eastern Carolina, and Coach Um Coach Hawkins, the defensive coordinator, you know. It was just a surreal moment, you know, because it's everything I worked for, you know. And I like that famous quote, all it takes is one.

Coach Moss

Yeah.

Jaison

All it takes is one. So just them giving me the opportunity is amazing. You know, like when I got that phone call, they just reiterated the fact that um I'm a top linebacker in the state, and the staff fell in love with my film, but more in love, they fell in love with my character. So, you know, those are just those are just conversations that I'll keep having, and you know, it's just really surreal feeling, you know.

Coach Moss

Yeah, because at the end of the day, whether you got two offers or 25 offers, you can only go to one school.

Jaison

Yeah, that's all that's all it takes, is one. Yeah you know.

Coach Moss

So

Other schools recruiting him

Coach Moss

can you just talk about um some other schools that you've been talking to as far as what other schools are recruiting you right now?

Jaison

Yeah, so some other schools that have been talking to me, uh uh ones communication has opened, is UCF, Vanderbilt, FAU, and I've heard from UConn as of lately and Liberty. So those are the schools that are talking to me right now. But I'll I'll I'm I'm positive I'll hear from more.

Coach Moss

Oh yeah, definitely. You're just a you're just a you just you going into your junior year? Yeah, you definitely about to blow up. Yes, sir. So um what what position are schools recruiting you? Are you are they recruiting you at like Mike, Will, Sam, or just like athlete? Or what what what are you hearing from?

Jaison

I feel like um the conversations I've had with certain schools is I'm a versatile backer, you know, Mike, whether that's Mike, Will, or Sam. So, you know, and whether they need me to play nickel and being coverage, like that's also a conversation, too. So it's really I'm really just versatile, you know. I have it's not really a pinpoint on a set position, but really that second level of defense.

Coach Moss

Yes,

Prospect Camps

Coach Moss

sir. So can you talk a little bit about the camps that you've been to and and what what did you get out of that as far as um that experience and what feedback you got from coaches?

Jaison

Yeah, the camps I've been to are great. You know, I I I these are camps that coaches have reached out to me that they wanted me to be there, so you know that that was another thing. But um, the biggest the biggest piece of advice I've received from all these camps is just keep working, you know. Like just like because they saw I was an ultra competitor, so you know that's one aspect that helps, but they just reiterated the fact that um it's only gonna get better. Like I'm only gonna get better, and I just gotta keep grinding, you know what I mean? Coach Dinofrio at UCF, the linebacker coach, that's what he told me, just keep working. Keep working. That's been the common denominator at all these camps, though, as I would say.

Coach Moss

Yes,

Summer Workouts

Coach Moss

sir. So can you talk about how summer workouts have have been going as y'all get revved up to getting ready to getting ready for the season? Because June is is basically almost gone as before you look, before you, before you know it, the season's gonna be here.

Jaison

Yes, sir. Yeah, summer workouts have been great. You know, it's it's good getting it's good lifting the weights with the guys, hearing the music, getting outside, getting getting some team runs. So, you know, it's just it's just been great. You know, these are experiences that will shape moments in October. So, you know, that's something that we've taken pride in, and we've definitely been intentional about how we go with summer workouts. So that's what I'd say to answer that question.

Weight Room numbers

Coach Moss

Yeah, and to be to be a linebacker, a physical, like downhill linebacker, you have to you have to really attack the weight room strong and in every day in a dominant fashion. So what what are your like bench and squat numbers right now?

Jaison

Yes, sir. Um my squat number, I believe the last time I squatted, it was in March. It was like four, like four fifteen. It was like four or five or four fifteen range, something like that. I haven't maxed out on bench in a while. I that number that number is like two two twenty-five or two thirty-five.

Coach Moss

Okay.

Jaison

And then my um my power plane number, I haven't power plane in like it's been a while. But um, yeah, those numbers, those numbers will only go up though. You know, strength is also something I take pride in, strength and conditioning, so those numbers will only go up.

Coach Moss

Yes, sir.

Personal & Team Goals

Coach Moss

So what what are your personal goals for this upcoming season, and then what are your team the goals that you have for the team that you want to accomplish this year?

Jaison

Yeah, one of my personal goals is just to obtain first team all-state. You know, I feel like um my trajectory will only get higher, you know. That's something I really take pride in as well, is those um being all-state, being a mention, you know. And some team goals we have is we want to go out there and we want to punch everybody in the mouth Friday night. Like, whether that's we we want to be undefeated. Like, whether that's whatever it takes as a team, as coaching staff, we're gonna reach our goals if we keep remaining level-headed and we just play together and play free most importantly.

Coach Moss

Yeah, because I was coaching at Ribault last year, and just in the past, I know that anytime you play Yulee, it's you in for a physical game, a physical game in the trenches. So if you're not if you're not ready for that, they gonna get they gonna they're gonna run you right out of the game.

Jaison

Yes, sir. Yeah, that is correct.

Coach Moss

So I know you had you were only five tackles away from a hundred tackles last year. Is that a goal you set for yourself to get them triple digits?

Jaison

Uh yes, sir. I I had a hundred tackles last year. It just never updated in max preps. Oh wow. But yeah, that is uh that is another one I want to hit. I want to hit a hundred tackles again. And you know, I I really my personal like my personal stats, like I want to hit a hundred tackles, I want to have 20 TFLs, and I want to reach double digit sacks. Teter or double digit sacks, so eight to ten. And I think those are highly attainable, if in my opinion.

Coach Moss

Yes, sir.

College & NFL LB'S He watches

Coach Moss

So are as far as you studying like other linebackers, are there a couple uh whether it's college or NFL linebackers that you kind of watch and study, and what what do you kind of what do you get from them when you watch that film?

Jaison

Uh yeah, so if I'm watching college linebackers, I really like watching this. I like I like watching CJ Allen in Georgia last year. Jacob Rodriguez as well. You know, I think um another thing I just really I love Georgia, I love Georgia's defensive philosophy. You know, it's coach Glen Shoemaker, he does a great job over there with coaching violence. You know, just every time I see a Georgia linebacker is hit, whether that's Roquan Smith, CJ Allen, Nakobi Dean, like those guys know how to hit, you know. And some aspects I take from Jacob Rodriguez is he's just a mauler. Like anywhere on the field, whether it's a ball carrier or passer, he's there. So just having that short area of quickness with Jacob Rodriguez, that's something I really admire. And as term as NFL, another guy, like a guy I like in the NFL is Fred Warner. Because he just has so much range. That's something I try to implement. Like when he's covering a wheel route in the red zone, like he's just there. Whenever he's chasing a dad, he's chasing a ball carrier from the 40 foot to the 30, like he's just there, you know, on the other side of the field. So just guys like that, they make me want to be more versatile. And more importantly, all of them just play free. You know, like the linebackers, they just they just play free and loose. So that's really what I take for them from them.

Hardest RB to bring down

Coach Moss

Yes, sir. So just talking about your season last year. Who would you say was probably the toughest linebacker that was the hardest to bring down in the hole?

Jaison

Toughest running back?

Coach Moss

Mm-hmm.

Jaison

Um, uh, the toughest running back that was um the toughest running back to bring down was probably um one of the guys from Raines. I always forget his name. I think his name was like Tedarius Washington.

Coach Moss

Yeah, that's yeah, yeah, that's him.

Jaison

And there was another back, number 12. They were like uh I well, I think it was number 12 that just played against us, but he was also a tough one. You know, he he was a really he's a real physical back, you know, like he has good balance, so that's one thing. We'd we try to wrap him up, but it really took three of us, and we still couldn't bring him down. So, you know what I mean? Like just just like that. And you know, I think another back that flies under the radar, he's a young guy, is Frederick Jones from Fernandina. You know, he's a he was a big he was a big running back, you know. So it really took all of us to bring him down. You know, you know, guys like the ankle bite nowadays, so that's what it took to bring him down, you know.

Biggest Rival

Coach Moss

Yeah. So um which one of the West Nest Nassau schools is your is your biggest rivalry? And how does and and how does it like the week leading up to that game and the atmosphere of that game?

Jaison

I'd say the biggest Nassau school that we rival against is probably um Callahan, or like we say West Nassau here. You know, uh I think the Fernandina rivalry, it's um, you know, it's it we can it's it's gonna get back, you know. We have both good teams, but as of late, we we've just been we've dominated Fern Dina for the past five plus years. So the West Nassau one um we've won, we've won majority of the games, but we I think we lost my freshman year, so that would have been um 23. Isn't that 23? Yeah, we've lost them twenty-three. So ever since then, it's just been it's just been a good rivalry. You know, they got a they got a good tackle over there in Clayton Lee. So it's just it's just ways what are ways we can beat them without the X's and O's. You know what I mean? So that's really all it takes to um beat a team like West Nassau. Especially an in-county rivalry when all you've had is straight of emotion. You know? Straight emotion. And once you get in your head, you know, you've l you've really lost the game. So it's just ways that we can stay out of our head and just keep playing football. Keep playing in between the lines.

1st Snap Mindset

Coach Moss

Yeah. So as far as your mindset, like the the your your first defensive snap, are you uh are do you have like the mindset where you're kinda trying to set the tone to let them know it's gonna be a long game or you just or you just have the

Jaison

I have the mindset to kill. Yeah. You know, that that's that's my mindset. And I I I I take pride, I take so much pride in that, like I just get goosebumps thinking about it right now. You know what I mean? I I in all honesty, I I have the mindset to kill. You know, football is the only sport that you would hear me utter those words. So like I genuinely I have the mindset to go out and lay somebody out, just kill, just kill them all, bro. You know what I mean?

Coach Moss

Like, yeah, because they probably Yeah, because they probably see you, like they probably talk to you off the field and they think, oh yeah, he just he just a calm, cool kid. But then once you get in that, I flip that switch. Yep. They were like, who the heck is this kid? Exactly.

Jaison

Just flip that switch. Oh, this kid from Yulee. This kid from Yulee, you can't do it. Oh, okay.

Trash Talker or Silent

Coach Moss

So as far are you a big trash talker or are you just quiet and just and just don't say nothing?

Jaison

Man, I just play the game, bro. Like I I think like whenever I get trash talk, I just laugh. You know what I mean? Because usually trash talk is it's from the dudes that like aren't really established. You know what I mean? So like you have nothing but to do and laugh. But you know, I have a fun time out there, you know.

Coach Moss

Because the one of the funniest things, it's a little side note, but one of the funniest things to me is that when the NFL, whenever they mic up Nick Chubb, like all you hear is him breathing the whole game. You don't ever hear him say nothing.

Jaison

No, some dudes just stay stay quiet, calm and collected, you know. And that's a good thing. Yep, so the play talk.

Coach Moss

Yes,

Priorities in Choosing a school

Coach Moss

sir. So as far as the the the school that you eventually that you're gonna eventually call home, like what are some priorities and some things that you're kind of looking for in that school?

Jaison

Um, some things I really look forward to that school is um stability. You know, this college football landscape is changing so much. So just having a staff that's been there and that know the expectation is gonna be a big thing, you know, in my opinion. And also something I look at is like the desired major. Does that school have my desired major when I want to study? That's one thing I look at, the academic side, you know. And also, that that's really all I look for. It's just stability, the family atmosphere, and desired major. Like those are the main things

Major in College

Jaison

to me.

Coach Moss

So, what is it that you want to major in?

Jaison

I want to go to business administration. So a lot of schools have that, but you never know. Some schools don't have that. So it's just good to always like always see, always check it out.

Coach Moss

Yes, sir. So now we're gonna hit this rapid

Rapid Fire

Coach Moss

fire um section while I kind of ask you some questions, you just kinda spit your answers to me. So run fit or blitz, what do you want to do on first down?

Jaison

Oh, uh blitz.

Coach Moss

Okay, tackle for loss or a pick? What what do you want more? Mike or Will, where do you live at right now? Will Okay. One word for running backs who see you fill in the hole.

Jaison

One word?

Coach Moss

Yeah.

Jaison

We gonna see. That's all. That's all I'm gonna say. You gonna see. I mean that's that's all I'm gonna say.

Coach Moss

What's one word for schools who haven't offered you yet?

Jaison

Wake up.

Coach Moss

Okay, um, hit stick or just or just a a wrap-up? How are you talking about? So after a big hit, what's your pointing you flex, no, you're just going back to the huddle?

Jaison

You know, after a big hit, you know, my grandpa watches the games and my family, so you know, I'm not really a big showboat. You know what I mean? I just you know, they always used to say, you know, old folks like to say, give the ball back to the ref.

Coach Moss

Yeah. How long have you been there?

Jaison

So you know what I mean? I just I just try to go back to the huddle, but nah, man. I I've been trying to do a little celly. Do a little celly. Yeah, I've been doing a little celly, you know. Angel hit that Drake, Drake one where he covered his eyes and then he peek back. Like, where's she at?

Coach Moss

Yeah, I know what you said.

Jaison

Where's she at? You know, I'll be hitting that, but nah, man. Just be humble.

Coach Moss

Yeah. So do you got one last message that you want to um give to either coaches, talk about your team, or to any of our listeners out there?

One Last message

Jaison

Uh yeah, one last message I just gotta say, you know, um, just expect a lot from this Yulee team. You know, we're once again, like I said in this podcast, you know, we're from Nassau County, so a lot of a lot of Jacksonville schools overlook us or underlook us, as I would say. But I really just say, like, come to Yulee. Come recruit Yulee. You know, we got a lot of guys that, not just like me, that are getting highly recruited, but we got a lot of other guys that really fly under the radar, you know. And I gotta give a shout-out to some of my teammates, like Trey Vasquez, um, Pete Coleman, William Heist Jones, the young quarterback, you know, those are just guys. And like on defense, we got like Maddox Brooks, T Urbane. We got a lot of guys that can play football at a high level. So, you know, it's just it's just getting coaches there and getting them to see, you know what I mean? It's just stuff like that. But yeah, I'm just ready. We're we're ready for the season, you know. We're we're we're ready, we're prepared, and I can't remember when our first game is, but we'll I'm we'll we'll be there.

Coach Moss

Yes, sir.

Jaison

We're gonna see.

Coach Moss

So I want you I want to thank you again just for coming on.

Jaison

Yeah, coach, I I I want to thank you for having me on this podcast. It's a true honor to be talking to you right now, and I just I can't wait for the future.

Coach Moss

Yes, sir. Well,
